Event Information
- An event reminder flyer and one empty brown paper bag will be distributed to each house 2-3 days before the event.
- On Friday, October 30th, event volunteers will be dressed in Halloween costumes and walk door-to-door between 7-9pm collecting food donations.
- On the October 30th event night, volunteers will be divided into teams of three with each team covering a pre-determined area of the Santa Teresa neighborhood.
- On the October 30th event night, volunteers are not allowed to solicit food donations from houses outside of their pre-determined area. Each house will only be visited by one team during this event.
- Any size donation is greatly appreciated and will help us reach our goal. There is no limit to the number of food items or bags of food accepted as a donation.
- If you will be unable to greet the volunteers during the event hours, but would still like to donate, please leave the bag(s) of canned food near your front door.
